* * * * * Give the Gift of Insanity this Holiday Season Post a Comment By Charles | Nov 24, 2010 It’s not even Thanksgiving yet so, you know what that means? Time to start thinking about Christmas. What better way could you possibly celebrate holidays than by knowing you aggravated the hell out of your closest friends and family! The world famous Annoy-a-tron got a festive makeover just in time for the Holiday season, so now you can give that special unsuspecting someone a gift that will keep on giving. The TannenBomb looks like an innocent thoughtful Christmas tree ornament but, when your loved one hangs it on the tree, a switch is triggered that causes it to come alive with the sounds of beeps, mosquitoes, crickets, and elf giggles at totally random intervals. With it’s festive stealth box this Trojan Horse is sure to find it’s way right to the Christmas tree and with it’s pressure sensor switch, it will be sure to have plenty of juice left for many years to come. Grab a TannenBomb prank Christmas tree ornament and drive anyone on your list crazy for under $12. 0 Share Filed under Technology Bushnell Backtrack Point 5-Personal GPS Will Help You Find Your Way Home Post a Comment By Josh Ray | Nov 22, 2010 Bushnell has upgraded their Backtrack Personal GPS with the release of their new Point>5. This new GPS system is great because it has so many features and it’s very simple to use. You basically just push a button when you’re in a location you need to remember and then when you want to return the Point>5 will direct you back with a big easy to read arrow and distance. backtrack personal gps point 5 The obvious uses for this are camping and hiking. Maybe you want to go off trail and do some exploring, I like to pretend that I’m Bear Grylls whenever I’m camping. With this cool gadget you can set a marker at your campsite and your set to play man vs wild for as long as you’d like, or until your wife makes you come back to start the fire. They’ve designed a line of belts that have a built in set of tools. Function and fashion have come together in this belt to give you a great looking accessory that will save you time on the slopes. This belt is made of 100% full grain water-proof leather. It has a double prong buckle with a built in can opener. One of the prongs is a #2 Phillips screwdriver and the other is a flat head. The Samsung SP-HO3 Pico Projector is one of the newest mini projectors on the market and you can get one for around $300. This tiny projector is only 1.5″ tall and 3″ wide which is puny compared to the projectors you see in home theatre setups but for some reason it just looks huge for a portable device. It uses LED and DLP technology to produce images anywhere you point it and it does that at a screen size of 9″ up to 80″ with a resolution of 854 X 480. It has inputs for your PC or laptop, digital cameras and a microSD slot which means you can hook up just about anything to it. The reason I thought it was cool is because with a few adapters you can hook it up to your phone and project movies or Youtube videos anywhere. That means when the next Antoine Dodson video goes viral and everyone wants to see it you can project it on the wall in your office and have a viewing party. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be an international man of mystery who speaks every language on the planet and can stop a ruthless organization from destroying the world while still leaving time for the ladies. If your spy game needs a little help than let me suggest the Spycam key fob camera from ThinkGeek. This tiny little camera is disguised as a key fob so you can film anyone anywhere inconspicuously. You may not need to snap pictures of a nuclear missile silo somewhere in the Middle East but what about the next time you’re at Wal-Mart and you see the perfect candidate for People of Walmart. It’s rude to pull out your phone and point it at someone but no one would ever suspect a key fob. Read More » 0 Share Filed under Video The Moller Skycar – Are You Seriously true??????????//

Paul Moller of Moller International explains his invention in this video.  It’s a little long and very dry so if you don’t have 15 minutes you may want to fast forward to 13:00 into the video.  If you have the time though I would recommend watching the entire video, it’s pretty interesting.

“You feel like you’re being lifted up by a magic carpet.” Do you need any further convincing than the magic carpet quote and the pics above?
The M400 is a a vertical takeoff and landing vehicle or VTOL for short.  That means that it can liftoff and land vertically like a helicopter but once it’s airborne it can fly like an airplane.  It seats 4 passengers and has a top speed of 330 mph.  It has a maximum range of 750 miles and actually gets about 20 miles per gallon.
